How to temporarily deactivate your Instagram account?
Many times we get bored of looking at Instagram or for some other reason we want to deactivate our Instagram account for a while.

How to temporarily deactivate your Instagram account?
- First of all open any browser on your computer or smartphone.
- Now open the Instagram.com website.
- Log in with the username and password of the account you want to deactivate.
- Now click on the profile icon given below on the right side.
- Now click on “ Edit Profile ” in your profile.
- Now scroll down to the very bottom and click on “ Temporarily deactivate my account ”.
- Instagram will then ask you why you want to deactivate your Instagram account. Then you have to select any reason from the drop-down list.
- If you want your account to be activated automatically, you can also select from another option.
- Now add your password.
- Now click on the brown “ Temporarily deactivate account ” button and then press the “ Yes ” button.
This way your Instagram account will be automatically deactivated.
How to activate an Instagram account after deactivation?

Your Instagram account will be reactivated by simply logging into your same account by visiting instagram.com or the Instagram app.
